Today in Podgorica, a contract worth 40 million BAM was signed between the Directorate of Transport of Montenegro on one hand and the Euro-Asfalt, a company from Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the other.

The subject of the contract is the construction of the second phase of the Rozaje bypass. The works include all construction work on the construction of a 2.6 km long road. In addition to works on the route, two tunnels will be built in length of 1193 and 693 meters, as well as two bridges, 18 and 155 meters long.

The contract was signed by the General Manager of Euro-Asfalt Hamed Ramic in front of the Consortium of Contractors and General Manager Sava Parac before the Directorate for Transport of Montenegro.

Ramic thanked the Montenegrins for the trust shown to the consortium he was representing and expressed his hope that the cooperation between Montenegrin institutions and BiH companies will continue.

“We signed our first contract in Montenegro in December last year and we have already been put into operation in May. Works on this section, and this is reconstruction and construction of the route on the Berane – Kolasin section, is in full swing. We recently signed a contract on the rehabilitation of slopes on the railway line Vrbnica – Bar. Today we sign this, which is an indicator for me that we are welcome in Montenegro and that we are respected as a partner. I must point out that this is not just a job for workers and companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina. We intend to continue with our practice to engage domestic companies, domestic experts, engineers and domestic workers,” Ramic said.

This is the third significant contract signed by Euro-Asfalt in Montenegro in just ten months, bringing the total value of the agreed works of this company in Montenegro to 130 million BAM.
