Euroimages, Fund of the Council of Europe for coproduction, distribution and digitalisation of European film works has given its support to Meeting Point Cinema in process of digitalisation whose realization has already started which is very significant because Meeting Point is recognised as a significant place for promotion of European Film.
Euroimages will give 50% of financial needs for the process of digitalisation, and in doing so Meeting Point cinema will have the up-to-date equipment in Sarajevo.
The support will help Meeting Point Cinema to increase the quality of films and to increase the quality of Sarajevo Film Festival.
Meeting Point Cinema is a member of Europas Cinemas Association, which offers support and promotion to European film.
The new equipment is soon to arrive, so the cinema will be ready for the next Sarajevo Film Festival.
