European Anti-Corruption Training Workshop in East Sarajevo

European Anti-Corruption Training (EACT) Workshop which is organized as a part of the project ‘ The EU support to Law implementation’, financed by the EU, is being held from 19 to 21 February in the building of State Investigation and Protection Agency in East Sarajevo.

EACT is oriented on project of Austrian Federal Anti-corruption office which is being implemented from the period 2011 – 2013 in cooperation with Slovakian anti-corruption unit, State Unit of Anti-Corruption Investigation of Slovenian Ministry of Internal Affairs and Slovenian Anti-Corruption Commission.

BiH became the member of EACT in December 2012.

The workshop is organized in cooperation with BIH Ministry of Security and SIPA, and it is one of numerous activities aimed and fighting the corruption.

Focus of the workshop will be the strengthening of the institutional capacity of Law implementing agencies, civil society and NGOs who deal with the issue of fighting the corruption in the fields of police investigation and prosecution, prevention and international cooperation.
