European Commission President to pay an Official Visit to BiH

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will start her visit to the Western Balkans on Sunday.

As stated, Von der Leyen will present the European Union Growth Plan for the region to the officials of the Western Balkan countries. According to the European Commission, this will be an opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation.

Von der Leyen begins her visit to the region in North Macedonia, where she will meet with President Steve Pendarovski, and on Monday morning with Prime Minister Dimitar Kovačevski.

Later in the day, he will travel to Pristina, where she will meet with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

On Tuesday morning, she will be in Podgorica, where she will meet with the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, and the Prime Minister, Dritan Abazović.

In the afternoon, von der Leyen will travel to Belgrade. There, she will meet with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, as well as with the Prime Minister, Ana Brnabić.

Finally, on Wednesday, the President of the European Commission will meet in Sarajevo with the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition, she will have a meeting with the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Krišto, Klix.ba reports.
