The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, invited the leaders of the parliamentary parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to a meeting in Brussels.

It is important to note that the meeting is planned for Sunday, June 12th, and the main topic of the meeting will be BiH’s European path. The goal of the meeting is to reduce tensions between political parties and to work on improving the country’s functionality and stability.

The meeting is also envisaged as a step towards building trust, compromise, and dialogue, and could be the basis for a concrete agreement between political representatives, to improve the country’s functioning and encourage the implementation of key reforms on the path to the European Union (EU) membership.

To recall, Michel visited BiH on May 20th and talked with members of the BiH Presidency and other political representatives.

During that visit, it was announced that another meeting could follow, but this time in Brussels, Klix.ba writes.
