He finds the theme for creation of paintings in his subconscious that is released in his dreams and becomes articulate language. His paintings are the expression of the rich imagination and sophisticated philosophy, which turns into a painting game on the canvas.

The color has multiple functions in the process of creating the painting as the main element of artistic expression and form.

The speech of the line, the color and drawing are composed into a unique experience and vision of the artist’s dream, and turned into artistic reality.

“This exhibition is the trace of a dream, the artist’s dream,” as written, among the other things, by Amra Patković referring to Porović’s exhibition.

Porović’s brother Iso, who is the actor, director and poet, recited lyrics at the opening of the exhibition, as well as Dino Porović.

Abida Ćelović, the artist’s colleague from their student days, sang two songs from the traditional heritage of Macedonia.

The exhibition will be opened until the 8th of August.

Mensur Porović is a member of the Association of Visual Artists of B&H since 1988.

He prepared a large number of solo exhibitions and he participated at numerous collective exhibitions in country and abroad. He won several awards for painting and drawing.
