The Historical Museum of BiH prepared a rich program for marking the International Museum Day. The main event is the exhibition “Miss Sarajevo” that will be opened on May 19, at 8.00 p.m.

“Do you remember Miss of besieged Sarajevo? We are bringing a 25 years old story back to life with the exclusive presentation of Museum exponents. Original video song “Miss Sarajevo” written by Brian Eno and U2 under the pseudonym Passengers, will be included in the exhibition as well,” as announced by the Historical Museum of BiH.

The famous British artist and musician Brian Eno will come to Sarajevo this summer with his exhibition “77 million Paintings”.

“The Historical Museum of BiH talks about different topics and phases of the history of BiH, usually through the perspective of a witness of time and the perspective of a common man. Permanent museum setting “Besieged Sarajevo” was created from that kind of stories. The Historical Museum enriches its collections by nurturing relations with the community. Items for central story of this year’s Museum Day were given by Janes Tadic and Gordana Magas,” as stated from the Museum.

Main responsibility for the concept of the exhibition was on Janes Tadic and the Historical Museum of BiH.
