konjicThe international day of museums and night of museums in Konjic will mark this day with an exhibition of caricatures by Zulfikar Zuko Džumhur, which will open today at 19:00 in the gallery of the museum.

The museum has 437 copies of caricatures of this renowned versatile artist and the most well known person from Konjic. The exhibition will be open until 28 May from 9:00-16:430.

The museum in Konjic offers a rich cultural offer to the city.

The most important displays at the museum is a replica of the Persian sun god Mitrasa and a replica of a medieval judge’s chair.

“The museum presents the urban and rural culture of life through the prism of the use and value of art woodcarving. The diorama of Lukomir shows enriched scenes of village rooms and traditional costumes.

The museum opened in February 2011. The museum continues to add new installments, and soon in the courtyard of the museum there will be a botanical garden’’, said the Curator Benjamin Mušinović for Fena.
