Expenditures in BH Institutions reduced by 5 million BAM?

The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Report on the Execution of the Budget of BH Institutions and International Bonds of BiH for the year of 2017 at its 143rd session, which the Ministry of Finance and Treasury will submit to the Presidency and the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

According to the Report, total revenues are by 26.246.752 BAM higher than expenditures, which amounted to 948.145.821 BAM. Total income, support, receipts and funding available to BH institutions amounted to 1,029,683,128 BAM last year.

Last year, in comparison with the year of 2016, was characterized with the increase of industrial production, where export-oriented processing industry was increased at a rate of 5.3 percent% while the increase of 5 % was recorded in  the field of the production of coal, ore and stone in BH mines.

Employment in the month of November was increased by 3.7 % in comparison to the same period last year, and 2/3 of newly employed persons came from the manufacturing industry. The number of registered unemployed persons in BiH in the month of December 2017 amounted to 475.100 and it was decreased by 6.9 %.

Furthermore, BiH collected 14.2 billion BAM of public revenues on the basis of indirect and direct taxes, contributions and other revenues in the year of 2017, which represents an increase of around 973 million BAM in comparison to the year of 2016.

Total deposits for the year of 2017 amounted to a total of 19.7 billion BAM and that represents an increase of 1.9 billion BAM in comparison to the same period last year. The largest share belongs to population deposits in the amount of 11.3 billion BAM, then deposits of non-financial corporations in the amount of 4.7 billion BAM, deposits of general government in the amount of  2.2 billion BAM and other deposits in the amount of 1.5 billion BAM.

The Council of Ministers of BiH also adopted the Annual Report on the progress of  implementation of the Revised Action Plan 1 (RAP1) of the Strategy of Public Administration Reform in BiH for the year of 2017, in which was stated that 72 % of goals were achieved, which is 4 % more in comparison to the year of 2016.
