Experts from Smithsonian arrive in visit for the National Museum

12966800_1752659461637397_372637950_nProfessional team of experts from the US Smithsonian Institution, the largest museum complex in the world, arrived in Sarajevo, which the US ambassador Maureen Cormack announced at the opening of the National Museum on the 15th of September 2015.

Experts from Smithsonian, in cooperation with local experts, will explore possibilities on how to make priceless treasures of the National Museum of BiH even more accessible.

Moreover, since the opening of the Museum after it was closed to the public for almost 3 years, students and organized groups of tourists are visiting it every day.

The museum got a new website to present the project and 3D exhibits, as well as numerous other activities that are in the process of implementation.
