Exports in the First Ten Months from Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded Decrease

In the period January-October 2019 export amounted to 9 billion 677 million BAM, which is 2,4% lower than in the same period of 2018, and import amounted to 16 billion 332 million BAM, which is 1,2% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 59,3% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 6 billion 655 million BAM.

Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 573 million BAM, which is 2,1% lower than in the same period of 2018, while import amounted to 2 billion 6 million BAM, which is 3,7% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 78,4%.

Export to EU countries amounted to 7 billion 124 million BAM, which is 2,4% lower than in the same period of 2018, while import amounted to 10 billion 137 million BAM, which is 4,5% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of imports by export was 70,3%, BiH’s Agency for Statistics reports.
