Exports from Republika Srpska increased by 21.4 %?

The entity of Republika Srpska achieved the export value of 2,536 billion BAM in foreign trade in the first nine months of this year, which represents an increase of 21.4 % when compared to the same period last year, according to the Republic Institute of Statistics.

At the same time, the value of the realized imports was 3.544 billion BAM or 11.3 % more.

Export-import coverage for the first nine months of this year was 71.6 %.

The RS sold the largest value of exports in the amount of 403 million BAM in the first nine months of this year on the Italian market, while the value of exports to Croatia amounted to 334 million BAM.

They mostly imported from Serbia in the amount of 626 million BAM, and from Russia, in the amount of 431 million BAM.

The largest share of exports was achieved by electricity, in the amount of 178 million BAM, and in imports by oil and crude oils that were obtained from bituminous minerals, with 389 million BAM.
