Weather Forecast for Fall fokus.baAfter a very hot summer in the largest part of Central and Eastern Europe, the fall is not bringing refreshment, claims Alan Reppert from the global meteorological service Accuweather.com.

Namely, unusually high temperatures will remain until November.

The area of extended Indian summer will also cover the Balkans, towards the north all the way to Ukraine, and in the west to Poland and Eastern Germany. A strong ridge of high pressure that will remain over Eastern Europe and Russia will prevent the arrival of the cyclone, which will result in lengthy hot and dry weather.

“Dry summer, combined with dry and warm fall, will increase the risk of forest fires and damage to crops “, said the AccuWeather meteorologist Tyler Roys.

At the same time, unstable weather is expected in the south of Europe, with storms in Portugal, Spain, Southern France, and during autumn in Italy and Southern Balkans as well.

Meteorologist Alan Reppert expects above-average rainfall in these areas. It will also increase the risks from flooding on the Apennine Peninsula, the area of Dinara massive, up to the southern slopes of the Alps, reported Net.hr. In other words – in Italy, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, B&H, and Croatia.
