TurowOne of the most famous American writers, Scott Turow, wrote and published a new book, the first one after four years.

Turow wrote 11 books so far and they have been translated into 40 languages. 30 million of his books were sold around the world so far.

Many American media wrote about his new novel “Testimony”. The plot of this novel is placed in BiH. The US attorney Bill is going through mid-life crisis. He quit a secure job and left his family in order to investigate war crimes for the Hague tribunal that were committed against Romani people during the war in BiH. A series of exciting events followed later on.

The New York Times stated that Turow managed to successfully recreate some of the scenarios and situations that actually happened in reality, and he emphasized that consequences of the war can still be felt in BiH.

“This is a real thriller. I wanted to write something different. Various witnesses try to deceive Bill throughout his work, but no one is what they seem to be,” said Turow for the American CBS.

He also added that the work of the Hague Tribunal is not well understood in the United States, and that’s one of the reasons why he decided to write this book.

“I researched a lot for this book. I have traveled to Europe three times. I am especially pleased that this story gained in importance after its completion,” said Turow.
