Residents of Sarajevo and the guests from the region and the world will welcome the craziest night of the year in front of Eternal Fire with, as previously announced, some of the biggest regional music stars. The star of the night will be the famous Zdravko Colic.

The Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra will perform on the day before, or December 30, and the famous Red Apple (Crvena Jabuka) will perform in the night from January 1 to 2.

The celebration in Sarajevo will start with the dance.  On December 30 will be held a performance for all visitors who will have the opportunity to dance in the city streets and contribute to the crazy fun.

“We have extended this year’s content on three days and I am sure that this will be the best New Year’s Eve ever,” said Mayor of the City of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka and invited the media to promote Sarajevo.

Sarajevo and its residents have always been very good hosts, concluded Mayor Skaka.

Prime Minister of Canton Sarajevo, Elmedin Konakovic, recalled the last year’s event “the coffee with Mayor Skaka” and that it represented an introduction to this event.

“That was an important decision, and since last year, Sarajevo is the first to choose who will be the first on New Year’s Eve. Now everyone is watching and reading who will perform here and I am very happy that they are the greatest stars of the region and our Sarajevans,” stated Konakovic.
