Bosnian-Herzegovinian shooter Farah Onešćuk set a new national record of 631.0 rounds at the World Championship in Cairo in air rifle shooting for seniors and won an excellent 18th place in a large competition of 120 of the best competitors in the world.

Farah Onešćuk is still a junior, so this result is especially important. With this placement, Farah won a significant 834 points in the World Rankings, which will significantly improve her ranking on the list of the best competitors in the world, where she currently ranks 87th.

First place was won by Korean Ban Hyojin, second by Chinese Wang Zifei, and third by Indian Valarivan Elavenil.

The trip to the World Championship was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Canton of Sarajevo and the City of Sarajevo, the Shooting Club “Sarajevo” announced.
