[wzslider autoplay=”true”]Nic Robertson, CNN reporter who stayed in the capital of B&H during the war, made a series of photos of war horrors in besieged Sarajevo, during the aggression on B&H.

The main street along the Miljacka river was famous during the war by a large number of sniper incidents because of which it was named the “Sniper Alley“.

Robertson now came back to Sarajevo and at the same locations which he visited during the aggression, compared scenes  of the war period, with those today, scenes of the city that is restored and expects the arrival of the Holy Father.

“Twenty years after signing the Dayton Peace Agreement, Pope Francis will visit B&H in order to pray there for the long term reconciliation“, as stated by CNN.
