13015087_1158445274206427_262182595_nWithin the socially responsible project “Revitalization of Banj brdo”, socializing in nature with the media was held yesterday at the picnic site Trešnjik in Banja Luka, where the present media representatives had an opportunity to see how the works are developing and how the favorite picnic site of the people of Banja Luka gets a new light.

Everyone who visits Banj brdo and Trešnjik in the coming period will have an opportunity to see the new park fittings, anti-vandal trash cans, benches and tables at the picnic site Trešnjik and Rajnarevo vrelo, as well as signposts and info boards, in which the company Molson Coors invested a significant amount of funds.

Vladimir Rosić, regional manager of the company Molson Coors, highlighted that social responsibility and environmental protection are always in the focus of the work of this company. This socially responsible project is just one in a series of projects that the company Molson Coors is implementing during the year, within the framework of cooperation with the Tourist Board of Banja Luka and the City of Banja Luka.

“The aim of the project is to continue investing in local community with the aim of improving the quality of life for people, this time at a place that is very dear and important to all people of Banja Luka. I invite everyone to visit this fantastic recreation area,” said Ostoja Barašin, director of the Tourist Board of Banja Luka. Barašin added that it is important that the people of Banja Luka treat nature responsibly and preserve the resources they have.

Project “Revitalization of Banj brdo” will be crowned with a very significant event that will be a gift to all citizens within the celebration of the Day of the City.

The all-day event “Be a part of nature, listen to domestic” will be held on Saturday, April 23, on Banj brdo. The event includes a varied program for all generations, with different contents for all visitors (sport schools in nature for children, fitness programs, concerts of numerous musicians from Banja Luka, as well as interactive contents). Visitors are looking at 12 hours of great fun in nature.

“By supporting this event, we are sending a strong message that we should all preserve nature, develop local community, promote healthy lifestyles, and support domestic musical scene. We are exceptionally happy to be a part of this positive socially responsible action that contributed to the improvement of environment, culture, art and sports of the City of Banja Luka,” stated Play Team, the organizer of this unique event.
