Representatives of Social-Democratic Party of BiH (SDP BiH), Alliance for Better Future BiH (SBB BiH), Croatian Democratic Union of BiH (HDZ BiH) and HDZ 1990 delivered the motion of no-confidence in the FBiH Government to the president of FBiH House of Representatives Fehim Škaljić.

The cabinet of the president Škaljić said that 56 representatives from SDP BiH, SBB BiH, HDZ BiH i HDZ 1990, as authorised proposers, run the motion of no confidence in the FBiH Government because the current composition of FBiH Government is not in accordance with a parliamentary majority in the House of Representatives, and thus in, the last six months, does not reflect the will of the majority of citizens as expressed in the 2010 general election.

Also, the members of the FBiH Government do not participate sessions of FBiH Parliament, and thus they devalue the important role of the Parliament as the Legislative of FBiH.

They also stated the another reason for the motion of no-confidence lies in the fact that member of the Government (eight of them) obstructed the work of the Government concerning the issues of general interest for all citizens of FBiH by not being present at the Government’s sessions.

It was also stated that the FBiH Prime Minister in an effort to build the responsibility of each minister, and being faced with the obstruction of eight ministers, gave the proposal to FBiH President for their removal from office, and the president six months ago made a decision to accept the resignation of one minister in the FBiH Government, which caused the unconstitutional composition of FBiH Government in relation to the number of members of the Government and its ethnic structure.

“These arguments are sufficient enough for a vote of no confidence in the FBiH Government, in order to form the new FBiH Government, which will reflect the structure of the current parliamentary majority in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, and to express the full responsibility of the Government to Parliament and citizens of FBiH”, said, among other things, the letter addressed to the Chairman of the House of Representatives of FBIH Parliament.
