Marinko Cavara, the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), reduced the prison sentence of Suzana Pesorda, who in 2015 caused a traffic accident in which an 11-year-old boy was killed and one person was seriously injured.
The decision on the pardon was published in the Official Gazette of the FBiH 99/22 and it is stated that the imposed prison sentence of one year and seven months of imprisonment is replaced by a prison sentence of one year.
”Pesorda Suzana, daughter of Ilija and mother Iva, nee Cutura, nee Grubisic, born 08.06.1964 in Imotski, Republic of Croatia, resident of Otok 29, municipality of Grude, a citizen of BiH and the Republic of Croatia. By the judgment of the Cantonal Court Siroki Brijeg, brijeg 63 0 K 027680 20 Kzk dated 05.05.2022, for the criminal offense ”Serious criminal offense against public traffic safety”’ from Article 336, paragraph 4, in connection with the criminal offense ”Endangering public traffic” from Article 332, paragraph 3, in connection with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH, she was sentenced to a prison term of 1 (one) year and 7 (seven) months. That the imposed prison sentence of 1 (one) year and 7 (seven) months be replaced by a lighter prison sentence of 1 (one) year,” it is stated in the Decision.
Cavara rejected the pardon requests of Vesna Perisa, Sajda Hadzic, Edvard Sejdic, and Mirzeta Subasic, Avaz reports.
