vlafa f bih i kinaThe Prime Minister of the FBIH Nermin Nikšić and the FBIH Minister of Finance Ante Krajina received today in Sarajevo the inaugural visit of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH Dong Chunfeng.

Nikšić expressed hope that cooperation would intensify with China, which is, according to him, a giant in the economic and financial sense, announced the FBiH government.

“BiH is a small country, but it certainly has something to offer to the Chinese market. What is particularly interesting for Chinese companies and banks could be projects in the area of road infrastructure, especially on Corridor Vc, and in the electricity sector’’, said Nikšić, and invited investors from this country to become familiar with potential projects that would be presented to them.

Ambassador Chunfeng said that China attaches great importance to BiH, because it sees in BiH a friend and business partner.

“Without a doubt, in addition to the contacts I have made at the state level, the ones at the entity level are of great importance. We are familiar that BiH has big development projects and I see a chance for Chinese companies to become included, as is the case with the construction of TE Stanari. We have to find a common modality that would satisfy both parties. We are geographically far from one another, but we have to intensify contacts in the economic, trade, cultural and every other field because huge potential exists’’, said Chunfeng.
