Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalic visited Konjic municipality on Wednesday, met with representatives of businesses and discussed the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy, as well as present Federal Government’s measures to mitigate the effects of the pandemic, Fena news agency reports.

“I was in Tuzla, now I arrived in Konjic to speak about business people that I respect very much,” Prime Minister told reporters before the meeting.

Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Dzindic also visited Konjic.

Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister Novalic laid flowers and paid tribute to the fallen soldiers at the ‘Alija Izetbegović’ Statehood Square in downtown Konjic and visited an isolation facility designed to house people with no conditions for self-isolation.

During the day, they visited Konjic hospital.

“We saw that everything was done very professionally. For the tenth day in Konjic there are no new people suffering from coronaviruses and it would be good if lessons from other people were learned from this. Igman and other factories have already started working, which is certainly a sign of recovery ,” said Novalic.

Novalic especially wanted to meet with 14-year-old Ali Sarajlic, who became famous after taking part in the extinguishing of recent fires in the municipality.
