Federation of BiH allocates Ten Million BAM for Child Allowances

The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy informs the beneficiaries of the child allowance in the Federation of BiH that orders have been entered for the payment of the allowance for the month of April this year.

In accordance with continuous efforts to ensure transparency and public insight into the work and distribution of social protection funds, the Ministry has published data on the activities of competent centers for social work and municipal social protection services for the month of April 2024, in the context of child allowance according to federal regulations .

During the mentioned period, a total of 65,850 final decisions were issued, the total value of which is BAM 10,307,776.64.

For the month of April, 5,494 decisions were issued on the basis of first-time submitted requests for child allowance, while 445 beneficiaries renewed their requests and continued using the rights acquired last year.

The Ministry also reminds that amendments to the Law on Material Support for Families with Children, according to which the right to federal child allowance is realized, are ready, and that after they have been determined by the FBiH Government, they will go through the parliamentary procedure by abbreviated procedure.
