Federal Minister of Trade Amir Hasičević announced today in Sarajevo that the first non-working week in the trade sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be on November 17.

After a meeting with representatives of the Federation Employers’ Association and the Director of the Federal Administration for Inspection Affairs Ivana Prvulović, Hasičević stressed that he does not expect this measure to lead to an increase in the number of drugstores in the Federation and other abuses.

Prvulović emphasized that the inspection will supervise the implementation of this measure of the new Law on Internal Trade and that the fines for its violation range from 2,000 to 15,000 BAM.

President of the Federation Employers’ Association Adnan Smailbegović said that the model of cooperation they have with the Federal Ministry of Trade should be applied to other ministries as well, because they have managed to come up with a fairly optimal solution, Fena writes.
