Well-known restaurateur Fahrudin Meskovic, owner of the restaurant “Kod Fehre” in Lasva near Zenica, will host several hundred fans of Montenegro today and thus fulfill his promise of preparing a real “burek with cheese”.
After the hospitality that the Montenegrins prepared for the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) fans and chanting “burek with cheese”, Fahrudin Meskovic said that he will open the doors of his restaurant to all Montenegrin fans before the match against BiH in Zenica and prepare them a real “burek with cheese”, that is, sirnica.
On this occasion, considering that he decided to fulfill his promise, Meskovic was interviewed and asked how many fans are coming and what is he preparing for them.
”I didn’t repent, not at all. I was aware of everything. We have to do good, this is for BiH and the people, for the fans, to at least build good relations with the countries of the region in this way. About 500 fans of Montenegro said they would come. Lamb, chicken, kebabs, burek, they will also have their burek with cheese, but in smaller quantities, as well as burek under the oven,” said Meskovic and added that this away game in Zenica will remain in their memory for a long time and that in return he asks that the applause at Bilino Polje Stadium marks the end of the game, regardless of the result.
Meskovic said that everyone needs the unity and friendship that existed in Montenegro and that we should talk about politics as little as possible.
”We want to socialize and build friendship across all countries,” Meskovic concluded.
