FENA Became Full Member of ABNA

fenaThe federal news agency FENA has become a full member of the Association of Balkan News Agencies (ABNA), unanimously decided by members of this organization at the 22nd General Assembly that began today in Sibiu, Romania.

The General Director of the host of the Romanian News Agency AGERPRESS Alexander Giboi wished the representatives of FENA a welcome to this organization that gathers agencies in South East Europe from Slovenia to Greece, as well as observation agencies outside this region.

Managers of the Agency at this assembly will exchange experiences on problems faced by the Agencies in the age of social media, financial issues and relations with users of agency news.

‘’Of the total number of published news in the world, eight percent are from agencies’’, said the General Director of the Bulgarian News Agency BTA Maxim Minčev at the beginning of the plenary session that will consider the position of agencies among media.
