Presentation of Project ‘Support Adult Education’

obrazovanje_odraslihUnder the auspices of the project ‘Support Adult Education’, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the German government organization GIZ completed the first phase that lasted for three years.

During this phase, the activities ‘after acquiring basic education’ have been realized, and the campaign ‘heroes of everyday life’, ‘awareness of the need for adult education’, portal obuke.ba and the ‘certification of informally acquired competences’ through the passport competence.

This innovative project deals with adult education from the perspective of lifelong learning, exploring ways to quickly and professionally create appropriate training, self-reflection through the analysis of their own competence so that adults grow increasingly independent and could contribute to their economic status and therefore the status of the entire state, announced the Association Infohouse.

At the press-conference that will be held tomorrow in Sarajevo, the results of the first phase of the project will be presented, which will end at the end of 2013, and announced plans and objectives of the next phase will begin on 1 January 2014 and will end on 31 December 2016.
