Festival ”Merlinka” is coming to Sarajevo

Festival of queer film from Belgrade ”Merlinka” will be shown from 15 to 17 March in organisation of Sarajevo Open Centre, and the program will be held in Art Cinema Kriterion.

On Friday, 15 March, at 6 p.m. film ”Marble Ass” by Želimir Žilnika will be shown. The film talks about a male prostitute.

On Saturday, 16 March at 4 p.m. there will be a discussion of topic of LGBT activism in Serbia with Predrag Azdejković, Aleksandra Gavrilović and Saša Gavrić.

After that, at 6 p.m., film ”Sister” by Manfred Hoschek and Sigrid Smejkal will be shown. The film deals with the movement ”Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” and their support to LGBT organisations and their fight against AIDS.

On Sunday, 17 March, Tunisian film ”Thread” by Mehdi Ben Atti will be shown at 8 p.m.
