The exhibition “Od opušaka do umjetnosti” (from cigarette filters to art), the first one of this kind in the world will open at the Sarajevo Gallery Collegium Artisticum on Monday.
Artists Saša Bukvić and Stjepo Gavrić will present sculptures, masks and reliefs made of recycled cigarette filters.
This exhibition is part of the environmental education campaign “The prevention program for waste throwing – City without cigarette filters” and aims to raise funds for the development of an experimental system for recycling, to raise awareness of the harm of throwing cigarette filters as a threat to the environment.
