In the previous days, the temperatures throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina were suitable for the winter season, but yesterday, the warm air brought some rather incredible temperatures.

At 4 o’clock this morning in Banja Luka, even 19 degrees Celsius was measured.

Neum and Tuzla follow, where 18 degrees were measured, and then Mostar and Zenica – 16, Sarajevo – 15 and Široki Brijeg 14.

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute issued an orange warning this morning due to expected strong and stormy southerly winds across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The warning comes into effect tonight at 9 pm, and will last until Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 6 pm.

The wind is forecast to blow at a speed of 50 to 80 km/h.

“Be prepared for disturbances, structural damage and the risk of injury from uprooted trees and debris carried by the wind. Interruptions in the supply of electricity are possible. For any additional information, please contact the competent institutions”, according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.
