Fifth festival of sevdalinka was held last night in Tuzla

Last night, Bosnian Cultural Centre in Tuzla was the host of fifth festival ”I carry you in my heart, oh sevdalinka”.

Nedžad Salković, Ivan Grubešić, Merim Džadić, Ibro Bublin, Azra Husarkić, Murat Vrabac, Tanja Petrović, Rajko Simeunović, Muhamed Mujkanović, Jasmin Hasić, Džavid Pamuković, Zekija Suman, Vesna Hadžić, Subhija Šehović and Ramiza Milkunić sung sevdalinkas last night.

The organisers of the festival were Ramiza and Rašid Milkunić, who wanted to preserve the tradition of sevdalinka as a valuable piece of cultural heritage.

Ramiza Milkunić said that she’s happy that young singers participated as well, because they show that sevdalinka is not going to die.

The audience enjoyed the show, and performers were awarded with applaud.
