Student Fest SarajevoBands of faculties of Philosophy, Architecture, Food and Faculty of Franciscan Theology have qualified to finals of BH Student Fest which will be held tonight, 23 May in ‘Underground’ club in Sarajevo, and bands from Mostar, Zenica and Banja Luka will also perform, reports Fena.

During the festival, there was a poetry night, a play by students of the Academy of Performing Arts, exhibition of works of students of Architecture and Fine Arts Academy, music workshop in Bjelave, student bazaar and many other activities.

‘This year larger number of students participated than last year. Apart from music festival, which was the basis of the first Student Fest Sarajevo, we’ve added five more events for students to participate. We hope to do this festival every year and to include larger number of students’, said president of the Commission for Culture and Entertainment of Students’ Parliament of Sarajevo University Adnan Vehabović.

Students of all years and of all faculties participated in this project with the aim to connect students with similar hobbies and interests.

The aim of the project is to promote pop/rock student scene, student bands, to promote youth and to exchange contacts so that students would have better extra-curricular engagement.

As a part of the festival Sixth Student Bazaar was held in the Square of Liberation, said Students’ Parliament.
