The misdemeanor appellate court in Belgrade issued a final verdict according to which human rights activist Aida Corovicmust pay 100.000 dinars for throwing eggs at a wall and swearing at police officers.

In the verdict, it was stated that she violated the Law on Public Order and Peace, however, it is not stated anywhere that she threw something at the mural of the convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic, but that she “threw something at the wall”.

”I will sue the policemen, and then the state. I will also go to the international court, I am not in a hurry,” told Aida Corovic.

The event for which she was fined happened two years ago, and in the request for the initiation of misdemeanor proceedings, which was then initiated, it was stated that Corovic wassuspected of impudent or reckless behavior and insulting officials in the performance of official duties.
