new branch of Vitamin SimitMany people today have attended the opening ceremony of the first branch of the Turkish company “Vitamin Simit“ in BiH, in the Municipality of Ilidza, where they have enjoyed in tasting of food and rolls made according to the traditional Turkish recipes, writes Anadolu Agency (AA).

According to the words of the deputy director of the branch of “Vitamin Simit“ in Sarajevo, Uğur Demir, the company specialized for making simits, bread, buns and cakes found its place even at the BH market because of traditional relations between Turkey and BiH.

“BiH is very similar to Turkey and because of that we feel here like at home. Since “Vitamin Simit“ is one of leading companies in this in Turkey, we wanted to make BiH more familiar with our culture. This is food that both rich and poor eat, from doctors to car mechanics in Turkey, this is food for all“, said Demir.

“This is the first branch that we are opening in BiH but we are planning to expand the business, to meet people with the Turkish culture and we are planning expansion to the entire BiH. We became so familiar with local pies and cakes so we came up with the idea to introduce our cuisine to them as well“, concluded Demir.

He cut the ribbon together with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BiH, Cihad Erginay, in front of a large number of guests, by which the branch in Sarajevo was officially opened.

As the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey said, the newly opened branch in BiH will additionally strengthen the friendly relation between BiH and Turkey.

“This is a wonderful day, The new Turkish investor came to BiH. This is such beautiful thing. Simit is one of our dearest products and they brought it here to make it familiar with Bosnians. I am very happy because of that fact and I am sure that people will be satisfied. We already have good relations between BiH and Turkey. I believe that, after opening this shop, this company will expand to other cities in BiH“, said Erginay.
