On the first Day of 2018 Mountains in the Sarajevo Surrounding were full of Skiers, Hikers and Children

After the unforgettable New Year’s Eve concert, visitors of Jahorina and Trebevic, used the first day of 2018 for skiing, sledding, snowboarding, hiking and walking in the usual winter holiday atmosphere.

Besides mountain fans from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia, at Jahorina and Trebevic there were also skiers from numerous European countries, including Slovenes, Turks and Hungarians, while guests from Italy were special surprise of this year.

On the first day of 2018, visits to Jahorina, Trebevic, Igman and Bjelasnica were organized. Close to 600 different nature lovers of different ages were hiking, skiing, sledding or did other snow activities.

Visitors welcomed New Year 2018 on Jahorina with the spectacular concert of regional music star Zeljko Joksimovic.

Spokeswoman of the Olympic Center “Jahorina” , Sanja Ceremidzic earlier said that this weekend was great and there were 7.000 skiers, which has been a record for Jahorina so far.
