hubSarajevo officially received its first IT-Develop HUB, called HUB387. It opened on Saturday in the Bosmal Center building, covering an area of 2.400 m2 of office space.

Open NEST was a welcome party where people from this industry gathered together, and received answers to questions about the concept of HUB287 and NEST71.

On the premises of HUB, NEST 71 was created, a place where IT people could have their own place for a very low price, a ‘nest’. The architectural studio MecoLada was responsible for the modern interior design.

2 slikeNEST71 is the first IT space for cooperation within HUB387, with the aim of providing a professional working environment and communities that exclusively target smaller IT companies (teams up to 6 people) and freelancers with a highly affordable monthly rent for a workspace. NEST71 is designed to be a place of unity and cooperation.

So far, Mistral Technologies, Authority Partners, Starting Point, NEST71 and OliveBH are companies that have joined Sarajevo HUB.

The significance of HUB387 concept was realized by the Project of improving local development, which is jointly funded by USAID, SIDA and MarketMakers, supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)
