In the Bibić Sako et al. case, the accused Alem Zukić, born in 1991 in Sarajevo, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, fully pleaded guilty to the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with the criminal offense of illegal traffic in narcotic drugs, charged by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For the accused, a prison sentence of one year, a secondary fine in the amount of 4,000 BAM and confiscation of illegal property benefits in the amount of 2,000 EUR were proposed.
It is the first verdict in cases with evidence from the Sky app.
The accused admitted his participation in the international smuggling of the narcotic drug marijuana “skunk” from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU.
The proposed sentence is in accordance with the role and responsibility of the accused in the execution of the criminal acts within the framework of the indictment.
The accused cooperated with the prosecuting authorities from the very beginning of the criminal proceedings, and with his testimony at the very beginning of the investigative activities, he greatly contributed to the successful and efficient conclusion of the investigation.
In accordance with the agreement, the accused waives the right to a trial, as well as the right to appeal the verdict handed down by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the agreement.
After consideration of the agreement, it was accepted and the accused was sentenced to the above sentence, announced the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
