Snow fell on the mountain Bjelašnica tonight, and judging by the weather forecast, the same is expected on other mountain peaks in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Meteorologists already announced a few days ago that the European countries were affected by a cold front that will bring rain, snow and much lower temperatures.

Yesterday, a similar scenario took place in Slovenia, where large amounts of rain fell, and snow on high mountain peaks.

Neighboring Croatia was also affected by a major storm yesterday, and leeches were also seen in some parts.

Snow is expected to fall on several other mountains in our country during the night.

According to BH Meteo, there will be no major precipitation on Saturday, light rain or drizzle is expected, and in Herzegovina a sunny period.

However, already at the end of the day, rain is forecast in most of Bosnia, and in the west, south-west of Bosnia and in Herzegovina it will be dry or with rarely little rain.

The same is expected during the second day of the weekend, with sunny periods in the afternoon.

The expected amount of precipitation in most of Bosnia from Saturday evening to Sunday evening is between 10 and 30 l/m2, locally up to around 40 l/m2.

Daily temperatures will be up to 12 degrees, and in the south up to 16 degrees.

The beginning of next week will bring a continuation of cool and unsettled weather with local rain and showers while the precipitation will not be so abundant, Klix.ba writes.
