Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of CS Cedomir Lukic, the Mayor of Vogosca Edin Smajic and Director of the Institute for Development Planning of CS Hamdija Efendic signed the Agreement on mutual rights and obligations of joint financing of development of the “A” phase of the Regulatory Plan “Barice,” the Regulatory plan “Ugorsko-Menjak,” the Regulatory Plan “Ugljesici” and the Regulatory Plan “Donja Josanica” in the municipality of Vogosca along the route of the planned first transversal.
Lukic said that the development of regulatory plans is creating conditions for the solution of several issues and problems, as well as the realization of this important infrastructure project in the Canton Sarajevo.
According to Mayor Smajic, construction of the first transversal is a priority for the Municipality of Vogosca and its residents, since the main road through Vogosca is now heavily burdened and its daily frequency amounts to about 20,000 vehicles, which creates big problems in the organization of life for residents of this municipality.
Director of the Institute for Development Planning of CS Hamdija Efendic emphasized that planning documentation will be done in accordance with the law and procedures, and they will assure that there is no cut-off villages in the municipality of Vogosca in any way during the construction of the first transversal.
For the realization of this phase, the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of CS allocated 30,000 BAM from the budget for 2015, while the municipality of Vogosca allocated 50,000 BAM.
Institute for Development Planning will start with the realization of plans right after the payment of funds, as announced from the Press service of CS.
