Five wagons of a freight train jumped off the tracks during the night and overturned in the Mostar settlement of Opine.
As Hercegovina.info photojournalist checked at the scene, five freight wagons loaded with sugar jumped out of the composition of the train that was moving from the direction of Čapljina to the Mostar railway station.
The cargo from the wagon was scattered around, and the protective fence of the car wash was also damaged.
There were no injuries. The site of this accident was secured by officers of the Mostar Police Department. Also, officers of the Mostar Police Department conducted an investigation on the orders of the prosecutor on duty.
Due to this accident, the entire railway traffic (passenger and freight) between Mostar and Čapljina has been suspended until further notice.
