The “Flame of Peace” Arrives in Tuzla

Tuzla_panorama_1Tuzla – The Peace marathon “Flame of Peace” arrives today in Tuzla, where at the Trg Slobode (Liberation Square) there will be a welcoming program.

A musical named “Romeo and Juliette” will be performed for all participants and citizens.

For visitors, in the hall of the BKC (Bosnian Cultural Centre) there will be an exhibition and the welcoming speech will be held by the representatives of the BKC Tuzla and the Foundation of the Municipality of Tuzla.

The “Flame of Peace 2014” is a peace marathon representing a part of the event celebrating this year hundred years from the start of the World War I in Europe.

The whole track of the marathon is 3 000 kilometers long and goes through 12 European countries e.g. 55 cities.

The Peace marathon will take place as a part of the event “Summer in Tuzla” organized by the Theatre of Young and in partnership with the Municipality of Tuzla, supported by the Foundation of the Tuzla community and BKC.
