The Greek airline Lumiwings should soon operate on the Tuzla-Istanbul route. The approval of the Turkish State Directorate for flights on the mentioned route was recently received, and Tuzla International Airport (MAT) is currently working on technical preparations for the establishment of the line.

According to information from MAT, flights between Tuzla and Istanbul could start in March. By March, ticket prices, how many flights there will be during the week and other information useful for travelers should be determined.

In addition to the activities on the establishment of new lines at MAT, intensive work is being done to find funds for the installation of the ILS CAT 3 navigation system. A study has been done, and if the project is implemented at MAT, airplanes will be able to land and take off in conditions of minimal visibility.

Airports in Belgrade and Zagreb have ILS CAT 3 systems in the region. Bosnia and Herzegovina, in general, has problems at all airports due to fog, and MAT is the only airport in BiH where the ILS CAT 3 navigation system can be installed, Fena news agency writes.
