The official ceremony of the establishment of the new international line by Croatia Airlines on the route Mostar – Zagreb took place in Mostar on Friday, and the first flight on this line will be conducted on May 3.
Regular flights will take place twice a week. Therefore, an airplane from Zagreb will fly for Mostar on Thursdays and Sundays, and from Mostar on Friday and Monday. It will be able to receive 76 passengers, and they will also have an opportunity to buy a return ticket for 89 EUR.
Mayors of Mostar and Zagreb Ljubo Beslic and Milan Bandic stated that this airline will contribute to the promotion of Mostar and Zagreb when it comes to tourism, economy and social prestige, i.e. realization of business relations and new investments.
The Mayor of Zagreb also recalled that they waited for this line for 12 years, and he wished that this line last for at least that long.
Minister of Tourism of HNC, Ajdin Taletovic, noted that this airline will provide numerous opportunities for safe and fast travel, both for the residents in the HNC and tourists.
Minister of Transport and Communications of the FBiH, Denis Lasic, recalled that a million BAM was allocated for subsidizing the Mostar-Zagreb flights as well as the significant investment of the ministry in 2016 and 2017, and he announced large investments for this year as well.
