sarajevo136-1With the beginning of the academic year 2013/2014, at the University of Sarajevo 40 foreign students, teachers and staff arrived who will stay on the basis of various mobility programs funded by the European Commission – Erasmus Mundus, CEEPUS, but also on the basis of an agreement on bilateral cooperation between Sarajevo and partner universities in the world.

Students will stay in B&H from one semester (six months) to one academic year (10 months).

The Department of International Cooperation of the Sarajevo University, modeled on the practice of partner universities from the European Union and beyond, is organizing for the fifth year an orientation program that aims to familiarize foreign students, teachers and partners of this university with its history, tradition and culture, as well as with history, tradition, culture and customs of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to offer them all the necessary academic and practical information.

In the orientation program, foreign students will be introduced with B&H students who also participated in the exchange projects, to have the opportunity to learn Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian language, as well as to visit major tourist destinations.
