In 2012 Foreign Trade Chamber has organised a number of joint attendances of BiH companies in foreign trade fairs and the companies who participated in the fairs received many awards.
The most significant fairs were the International Furniture Fair IMM Cologne 2012, the World Organic Fair Trade in Nurnberg, International Technology Fair Hannover Fair 2012, International Tourism Fair GAST 2012 Split, and International Furniture Fair Ambienta Zagreb.
Head of the Agency for the Promotion of Export BiH Enes Ališković said in an interview for ”Dnevni list” that BiH plans to increase the number of BiH companies participating in the international fairs.
”We need to seek new markets and we plan to target specific promotional activities in the markets of Turkey, the Middle East and Russia”, said Ališković.
