The BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury prepared in 2012 three budgets, and for the first time, the BiH budget for next year was completed by the lawfully stipulated deadline, which allowed it to be adopted by the end of this year.
The Ministry said that the savings of about KM 35 million were made in the 2012 Budget, and its passage was accompanied by bylaws which stipulated a reduction of certain benefits of BiH government employees.
The office of the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Nikola Špirić noted that BiH will end this year with surplus, which confirms that the global fiscal framework was sufficient for financing the institutions of BiH.
