What do Foreigners google about the Balkans?

coffeeStereotypes are inevitable, so often certain countries are unconsciously linked to some things, for example Germany with beer, Turkey with carpets, electronics with Japan.

Good news for all fighters against stereotypes – those things are not what people are interested the most about those countries. Fixr.com website published a map which presents things whose prices are googled most often in certain countries. Although these results are not scientifically relevant, at least they reveal a little bit more about interests in certain countries.

Interesting findings are:

People are interested in how much it costs to fly in a MIG in Russia;

Prices of nose surgeries are the most frequently googled in South Korea;

Beer is googled the most when it comes to Serbia and when it comes to Croatia it is the price of coffee.

Prices of BMWs are most frequently googled in Germany, prices of Rolex watches in Switzerland, and funerals in Ireland.
