Former Kosovo President denies Connection to Epstein Case

Former Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga on Tuesday denied allegations that her name was mentioned in the latest documents related to the Epstein case released by the US government, adding that she never met or had any contact with Jeffrey Epstein during her term.

“The mention of my name in the media in connection with the recently released documents refers exclusively to electronic correspondence by third parties, which does not constitute or prove any meeting, acquaintance or personal relationship with me. My name is not mentioned anywhere in any type of published document,” Jahjaga wrote on Facebook.

According to her, the indicated email mentions the President of Kosovo, but without specifying which president it is, while at the same time there is no request for a meeting on her behalf or on behalf of any representative of the presidency.

“Any different reporting is an insinuation and deception of the public,” Jahjaga said, adding that this can simply be seen from the released documents themselves.

Kosovo media previously reported that two former presidents of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga and Behxhet Pacolli, are mentioned in documents recently released by the US government about Epstein, but they deny knowing or meeting the late sex offender.
