Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested seven former commanders and members of the Zvornik Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) in the area of Zvornik yesterday morning.

As the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)told, those arrested are linked to the shooting and murder of around 800 victims of Bosniak nationality in the locality of Orahovac, and after the fall of the Srebrenica Protected Zone.

According to SIPA’s statement, these persons were arrested on suspicion of having committed criminal acts based on individual and command responsibility, as well as helping in theperpetrating of the genocide.

As stated, the arrested will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH after the criminal investigation.

Earlier judgments established that before the murders in Orahovac, captured Bosniaks were kept in the hall of the “Grbavci” school in this town.

The BiH Prosecutor’s Office said that they could not talk about the details of the action at the moment, Klix.ba reports.
