Despite the fact that many citizens are leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina in search for better jobs, an increasing number of companies in our country offer great jobs for workers and they are also well-known in the international market.
One of them is Wagner Automotiv, a specialized foundry of aluminum frames from Gradacac, which is the only metal frame distributor for Land Rover electronics in the whole world.
Ford, Jaguar, BMW, and Mercedes are just some of Wagner Automotiv’s customers.
“Our products are manufactured for the latest models of famous world automobile manufacturers such as Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Daimler Benz, BMW, PSA, VW, etc. Our frame of AGR vent is in vehicles of BMW and Mercedes. The air intake regulator is located in vehicles of the PSA and VW group. Our most massive product that we produce in the amount of 2,500,000 pieces is installed annually as an electronics frame for the front lights of the Mercedes,” stated Esmir Mehanovic, Sales Manager and Project Leader in this company.
Due to all of these predispositions, the company Wagner Automotiv is constantly hiring new employees, with which is increased their annual turnover and earnings as well.
At the very beginning of the project, this company produced fewer amounts but now it produces more than 200,000 pieces a year, which means that the turnover of the company amounts to 12 million EUR. Their production is 100 % export-oriented to the market of the EU, especially Switzerland.
But this is not all because, according to Mehanovic, they are planning to produce and export 4.5 million pieces of the product this year, while the projected turnover for the next year is 14 million EUR.
